Water distributor and shot rod

Copromec shot rods are made of high-tenacity tempered steel. The dimensions and characteristics of each element are in conformity to the specification provided by the customer during the design phase. On the shot rod there is an inlet hole and an outlet hole for the cooling water.

We manufacture two types of conventional shot rods:

• shot rods connected to the support pin by a thread (male or female, depending on the needs);
• shot rods with integrated lubrication connected to the support pin by locking pins.

The water distributor is made of high-quality stainless steel and is inserted in the central hole of the shot rod. Its purpose is to make the water flow from the bottom of the rod to the plunger tip in order to cool it.
